Moers Castle is the oldest known building in the town of Moers. Little is known today about the castle's early past, as much information about its construction was lost during the great town fire in 1605. The castle is located between the Kastellplatz and the city park in the middle of the beautiful centre of Moers. Today, interested visitors will find the County Museum and the Castle Theatre in the castle.
